How birth details, readings, site measurement and advertising measurement use information.
Why we ask for birth details
Your birthday is needed to calculate your Saju chart. Depending on the product, optional birth time, place, partner details and relationship context can make the interpretation more specific. Input and result records support calculation, AI generation, request recovery and result retrieval. They are not displayed to other visitors. Please avoid unnecessary names, contact details or sensitive information about other people in your story.
Accounts, payments and support
If you sign in or purchase a reading, account identifiers, order references, payment status and saved readings support access, delivery and refunds. PayPal processes payments. Do not send card details or passwords to support. Messages to hello@ariadelle.com are used to handle your request.
Our own site measurement
Our site measurement is separate from Meta. When configured, it starts by default unless you decline site analytics or your browser sends a supported Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal. It records visits, clicks, input starts, result arrival and visible-page dwell time with pseudonymous browser/session identifiers, route, device category, language, traffic source and approximate country. Birth details, stories and reading text are not included in analytics event payloads. Use “Analytics preferences” at the bottom of the site to decline or allow this measurement.
Meta advertising measurement and your choices
On /reunion02, Meta Pixel starts by default for visits identified as United States by our hosting provider, unless you have declined or send a supported GPC or DNT signal. For other or unknown locations, it starts only after you allow it. Location is an IP-based estimate, not proof of residence. Meta Platforms, Inc. (United States) can receive visits, free-reading clicks and adult-confirmed input starts with IP address, page address, cookies and browser/device information, and use them for ad measurement and delivery. Birth details, stories and reading text are not sent in these events. Reject immediately stops future event sending and is remembered for 180 days; it does not erase data already sent. Closing only hides the notice and does not change the current setting: US default measurement continues, while a visitor waiting to allow it remains off. Existing unexpired rejections are preserved. Use “Ad cookie settings” at the bottom of the landing to change your choice, without signing in. Rejecting does not limit your reading. Meta’s Business Tools Terms permit event retention for up to two years. Known under-18 birth input stops further Meta measurement for that browser tab.
Providers and processing
Vercel hosts the site; Supabase stores service records; OpenAI processes the chart material and submitted context needed for AI generation; PayPal handles payments. Meta processes advertising events only as described above. These providers may process information internationally under their service settings and policies. Declining Meta does not stop processing needed to provide a requested reading or payment.
Browser storage and retention
Browser storage retains language, unfinished input and request references. A site measurement identifier and an allowed choice can last up to 30 days; a declined choice is remembered for up to 180 days. Free reunion results have a 30-day viewing limit; this does not mean all database copies and backups are deleted at exactly 30 days. Paid results and transaction records are stored separately for result access and order handling. Contact us about deletion; access expiry and physical deletion are different.
Your requests and contact
ARIADELLE is independently operated. Contact the operator and privacy contact at hello@ariadelle.com to ask about access, correction, deletion or advertising choices. We may need to verify the request and account/order ownership without asking for unnecessary sensitive documents. Applicable rights and required record retention can affect how a request is handled. This notice describes the service; it does not limit rights provided by applicable law.
Server-side conversion measurement (October 21 update)
The same Meta choices above also apply to the main home. With measurement enabled, our server sends home visits, type-button clicks, calculated-type result arrival, full-reading clicks and newly completed free readings through Meta Conversions API. Type values, birth details, stories, reading text, email and payment details are excluded. Home events use a canonical page address without query parameters or private result links; no Meta browser script runs in the home result flow. Meta browser/click identifiers may be stored for up to 90 days only while measurement is allowed. IP address and browser information help attribute events. A hashed reading reference deduplicates completion events; restored-result views are not new completions. On /reunion02, browser and server events share an event identifier for deduplication. This update does not enable purchase tracking, automatic advanced matching or automatic events.
